I'm a very private person, that's the reason I decided to take out the photo and my name.. I am sure you must be asking - if you are private, why are you blogging? Well, at least you know about me but not me. does that make sense? Well, it's November 2009 and my grandmother's birthday is coming up.
Yes, like I said, family is close to my heart... so what did i decide to get her? On the 12th of this month, which is few days time, my grandmother is turning 72! Young old lady.. ok that doesnt make sense. Well, anyway... I was searching and searching and realise that it's extremely difficult to buy something nice for a 72 year old lady.. I wanted to get her a nice experience from Redribbon Days (http://www.redribbondays.com.my/) since my grandmother is in Malaysia. The browse button on Redribbon Days is quite smart actually. There is an option to choose under GRANDMOTHER! So I thought, I would check that out and see what are the suggestions. Yes, it was something that I was looking for.... I cant send my grandmother for a pilot for a day! That would be funny.
So back to the experiences that Redribbon Days suggested - Dining. They have this Degustation menu thingy in Kuala Lumpur, Sunday Lunch Affair, Carcosa Seri Negara English Afternoon Tea for two, Champagne and oyster at the C.Club, lots of gourmet interesting things..massage .. reflexology.. I think those are good suggestions but I'm not there to bring my grandmother for her birthday since I am currently in Australia. So after browsing few pages, what did I find! Excellent.. On page 3, I was sold by Redribbon Days. I have decided to get my grandmother a Personalised Coffee Table Photobook - 10 pages. I have few pictures but not many of my grandmother - well not me, my partner is very organised. It is my partner who kept the photos taken with my grandmother. IT's fantastic because Redribbon Days not only sell the experience but all I needed to do is put all the pictures plus my creativity on an A4 page (my creativity is the captions of course - for each pictures) and thats it... make payment online and they promise to deliver it for me to my grandmother! Cant wait for her to receive her present on the 12th of this month! I hope she will like it.Although 20 pictures that I sent to Redribbon Days to do the coffee table photobook for me, they are 20 meaningful pictures of my grandmother taken with all her kids and grandchildren! So, I cant wait for her to receive the gift from me!
one thing to add is, a lady name Alex replied me very promptly regarding this special gift for my grandmother. Talk about customer service... She replied almost immediately.
