I had a hair cut appointment so I went down to Swanston street in melbourne to cut my hair. On the way back, I suddenly had a feeling that I should buy something for my partner. After all, 8 years didnt come easy for us. My partner sacrificed a lot for me and pleasing my family is not easy at all. So I went down to Vintage Cellar (Dan Murphy wasnt opened since it was already 7pm) to get a bottle of Vintage 2000 Dom Perignon! It was quite expensive AUD$299 (but since we were eating home and not going to spend anything on dinner I thought it would be quite nice to enjoy a nice expensive champagne). Got home and presented it to my partner and she was surprised. Knowing me, a person who doesnt know how to surprise anyone. The champagne wasnt chilled so we had to put it in the fridge. Started drinking a bottle of Proseco instead but after that, we were too drunk to drink the Dom Perignon. So we decided to keep it and enjoy it later this month - which will be my partner's birthday. Have you tried anything romantic in a spur of a moment?

Surprise Anniversary Gift
I dont see myself as a romantic person but sometimes there is a spur of a moment that make you do things that you dont plan for. I would say that I am a person that budget most things and plan everything. On the 7th November 2009, marks my 8th year anniversary with my partner. We have been wanting to try this restaurant on Toorak Road, South Yarra, it's called France Soir. I called a week before to make reservations for it and funny how when they day came, my partner decided we should stay in for a nice relaxing dinner instead with our dear son, our dog. She didnt have to convince me since we feel quite bad leaving Mantou (our dog) at home. Called France Soir and guess what I found out? The day I called in to make the reservations - the guy that took the reservations was probably too busy - he forgotten all about it. Imagine how angry I would be if we went there and no reservations made! Well, I take that as a blessing in disguise.
